Welcome to the Artist and the Engineer, the official homepage for the writings of F. Justin Ossmann. I am just getting set up with my own website for the first time in years, so please bear with me as I get this site up and running.

I am a writer (and artist) who has been putting words to paper since I first started learning to read. From short stories in elementary and middle school to poetry and prose in high school literary magazines, business magazine articles and ad copy for a marketing company, and at least one unpublished novel (with more on the way), I have always been writing, even when my career wasn't focused on it. But this is a return to form, and this site will be a place I can post old writings (call it a portfolio, if you will) and add new short stories, critical reviews, poetry and plain old rants on whatever is on my mind.
